A huge amount of work is already going on in the Tyne catchment, and a key part of developing a plan for the whole catchment was gathering together that information. The Tyne Catchment Plan links to existing plans, strategies and work programmes, and it was important to make sure that information is as up to date as possible.
Tyne Rivers Trust asked the organisations carrying out projects to improve the Tyne rivers, or are planning further work, to share that information. We have captured this information as best we could in the Tyne Catchment Plan. If you have further information to contribute, please get in touch as your projects could be included in future versions of the Plan.
