Susan Mackirdy joined the Tyne Rivers Trust today.
Susan will project manage the delivery of the Tyne catchment plan, working closely with other key organisations throughout the area to ensure the plan is as inclusive and complete as possible.
Susan has a background in delivering similar environmental projects in Cumbria. She is happy to have moved to the other side of the Pennines to work within the Tyne catchment. She says she is “really looking forward to meeting the wide variety of stakeholders in the catchment, and making sure their work and views form part of the new Tyne catchment plan. Tyne Rivers Trust has a key role to play in influencing government on how our river systems are managed in the future and I am really excited about being a part of that”.
