The Strategy Group for the Tyne Catchment project met for the first time last week. The meeting was very constructive, with useful contributions from all members.
The Strategy Group looked at the results from the catchment survey and the issues the Tyne Catchment Plan could include. There was a useful discussion about the role communities could or should play in improving and protecting the Tyne, and ways of engaging and empowering communities.
